Evolution Reveals 2023 Live Games Line Up

Introduction to Evolution 2023 Games

It’s just over seventeen minutes long and contains information and imagery of all the new games, including the already-released Funky Time and Extra Chilli Epic Spins, which I won’t cover in this article.

If you prefer a quick read and glimpse of all the games, here’s my rundown.

Lightning Lotto

Lightning Lotto (replaced by Lightning Ball in Aug 2024) joins the “Lightning Family” games, combining the most popular Evolution games with the most widely played gambling game in the world, the Lottery.

You purchase multiple lottery cards before one number is chosen as the Lightning Number, which will boost a winning card by the multiplier assigned to it if the ball gets drawn during the game round.

Six balls are drawn from a bouncing ball lottery machine, with cards matching the numbers winning. It’s as close to the regular Lottery we’re all used to playing, but you don’t get to choose your numbers, just the cards, like in Mega Ball.

Xxxtreme Lightning Baccarat

Xxxtreme Lightning Baccarat has more lightning and bigger multipliers.

It’s a more volatile version of Lightning Baccarat.

Video Poker Live

This is one game I’ve been pleading with the Live Casino developers to make over the past five years. I’m unsure whether I pitched to Evolution, but I’m delighted they have worked out a way to deliver Video Poker Live.

It’s one of the most popular video games in Vegas. I play it all the time, as it has a high RTP!

In the Evolution version, a live dealer will deal the initial five cards, and like Video Poker, you can play multiple hands. Todd mentions up to 100.

I don’t know how they’ll manage this, so I can only assume some RNG is involved in the game.

We’ll have to wait and see!

Gonzo’s Treasure Map

Gonzo’s Treasure Map replaces the poor Gonzos Treasure Hunt and is a roulette-style game where you place bets over a big map.

It’s unclear what the game mechanic will be, but a bonus round is included for this strategy-based game.

Gold Vault Roulette

Gold Vault Roulette replaces Gold Bar Roulette which didn’t resonate with players as Evolution had expected.

In this version, the volatility is lower, and there will be more multipliers.

Prosperity Tree Baccarat

Prosperity Tree Baccarat is a super-friendly, low-volatile game.

It’s like Lightning Baccarat with more multiplier cards, increasing the chances of bigger wins.

Crazy Pachinko

Crazy Pachinko follows the success of Crazy Coin Flip, where the bonus round has been made into a game in its own right.

It’s a live slot game, with sticky scatters and lots of bells and whistles which help you qualify for the Pachinko bonus round.

Red Door Roulette

Red Door Roulette brings together Roulette and the big Crazy Time wheel bonus round.

You play Roulette, and “Keys” are scattered across multiple numbers. Multipliers on the keys boost potential wins.

If a winning number has a key, the Crazy Time bonus round is played, with the game host walking through the famous red door.

Other Improvements

Alongside developing new games, Evolution continues to improve and tweak all aspects of the playing interfaces and interactions with game selection.

A particular focus has been on the Baccarat Roadmaps, allowing players to view all the trends in one place. It’s possible to place bets without being seated at the table.

Another innovation is the smart lobby, where the looby learns the games you like to play and keeps them neatly arranged for quick access.

Live Casino Comparer Comment

Hooray for Video Poker. I’m so looking forward to this live version. I hope it plays quickly, and we’re not left hanging around for players to make decisions. Video Poker is a fast-paced game, which makes it so enjoyable, so I hope Evo can deliver that.

Bonus rounds on Roulette make sense. Other suppliers have done it, so Red Door Roulette should do well.

I’m sure the new Baccarat games will fit well within the overall Baccarat portfolio. This one game has every variety of options and focused roadmap betting, which should suit Baccarat players.

As for Gonzos Treasure Map and Gold Vault Roulette – I’ll reserve judgement on those until I see them.
